The Rising Moon (which means - the raising of feminine energy) started as a small new age store in New Smyrna Beach (then named Chris' Place) in 1996.  We moved to St. Augustine in 2004 and expanded our product lines to include many Fair Trade items from around the world. After four wonderful years in St. Augustine we have moved to Bunnell, a small town in Flagler County Florida, which is centrally located between St. Augustine and Daytona Beach.

We have always supported women's issues, spirituality and business ventures. The fact that  sixty to seventy percent of the artisans providing Fair Trade hand-crafted products are women, and that often these women are mothers and the sole wage earners in the home, made the decision to add Fair Trade products to our selection the easiest we have ever made.

The Rising Moon is committed to promoting the financial, physical and emotional well being of women world wide. We believe that a committment to women is an overall investment in humankind.

We will continue to search out more Fair Trade and ethically produced and/or imported products that ultimately elevate the human condition.
